You've Got to
Love Linda Holliman!
The ideas on this
page are from a workshop I attended about Centers presented by
Linda Holliman in 1999.
This is Linda's
center folder. Two sheets of large construction paper. Fold one
into a "hamburger fold." Fold the other into a "hotdog
fold." Open the "hamburger fold" and slide the
bottom into the "hotdog fold" and then refold the "hamburger
fold." Now write the students name on the front pocket. The
front pocket holds the center menu. Inside is where students hold
their work in progress. The back side has a pocket for finished
tasks. Laminate for durability.
I used these with
my K's and they worked well. I wasn't able to laminate, but they
held up okay. I stored them together in a special bin.
